END OF MALAYSIA HANDBALL CLUBS LEAGUE 2008 Cempaka 17 - 5 SMAP Goals Scored : Yaw Wai Luen [5 goals la] Yap Woon Wai [3 goals la] Eugene Lau [3 goals la] Ng Yew Eng [2 goals la] Boom Yeong Chuen [1 goal] 14 total. hmm. Wie Jay Sern [2 goals la] Eugene Lau [+ 1 more goal] =D ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways , on a more serious note , this was the last game that CHC (Cempaka Handball Club) may have had. Captain Yap Woon Wai will be joining team, NS Boys next season. Superstar Eugene Lau is retiring into seclusion. Ultraman Yaw Wai Luen will be plying his trade in Australia. ... So here's the thing, if anybody feels like its wasted that the club is being dismantled and all, and would still like to participate in next season or in further competitions (ie KL Open), please feel free to contact En. Nizan in Cempaka Cheras Campus to obtain sponsorship for next season. You will be running the team next year if you plan to and i shall not help you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's been a mixed season. Team Cempaka has finished 2nd last in the league. That is, we got 7th out of 8 teams. Started out the season on a low, but for those who were there, who can forget the match against Gombak, absolutely the best we played in awhile. Would like to say thanks to those who've made it for training throughout the season. Would like to say thanks to those who've made it for the games. Would like to say thanks to those who've dedicated their time for the team. All in all, well should you not retain this club next year, and would look to join other teams, which i strongly suggest to pick up experience, just ask around yea?
