To all men and women handball players....

It has been ermm.. 6 months !.. almost.. half a year man !.. hahaha.. yup.. 6 months of training !.. can u believe it ?.. we started training since March... yup.. ermmm.. yea.. many things happened.. haha.. the teachers playing with us.. TRAINING the girls.. haha.. coaching them and lead them to a WIN!.. =) against the dunno what KL team.. not KL libra.. haha.. and they left the team ?.. maybe some of my team members will like that decision.. hehe.. and remember i brought in new players.. king, hann tsong and jon ?.. haha.. yea.. "useless ones" hahaha... well.. then the girls also got new players both from hartamas.. never attend for training one.. lolz.. who are they ?.. shida and nabila rite ? hehe.. yup.. then middle of the tournament.. woonwai came in like a noob.. hAHAHAha.. chill cous.. well.. he had improve the MOST man guys!!.. what happened ? Alex ? HY ? the rest ?.. including me ? hahaha.. well at least you guys WON Mr. Ng's team.. 18-8 !.. woo hooo ! yup.. the girls won KL team *not Libra* ermm.. i think its quite thrashing as well.. 2 digits to 1.. just like us !.. yea.. and we both lost the rest.. dont feel sad.. hehe.. yup.. i see improvement in girls like for girls.. 7 on 4 !! hahaha.. not scoring at all !!.. when all the KL Libra girls arrived, only start scoring.. but got fight ah!.. quite close.. 5-5 6-5 7-5 7-6 .. you know ?.. woW.. up against the best team with that score !.. ermm.. some really awesome goals by Iphin.. woW.. half field goal eh!!.. ermmm who else.. Kaling faking that FAT CHINESE BUT SPEAKS MALAY girl.. hahaha.. and ermm Billie, first goal of the season.. hehe.. besides that other good goals from ermm ?.. i dunno la.. forgot d.. yea.. everyone did very well.. especially Ju ! woW.. super kick !.. cool eh ?!.. Jim call her to teach you la.. yup.. well.. later below i will post who scored the most goal.. performed the best.. bla bla bla... okay ?.. haha.. yup.. besides that, the guys also had a very competition ah.. hmmm.. well.. according to Alex today.. WAH!.. Season High.. hahaha.. throughout the whole freaking competition.. you only want to perform the last match ?!.. well.. it was quite deceiving when they told us that today's match was against KINTA.. and then it really boost the whole team' morale up.. hehehe.. woW.. 22-16 !!.. can you believe it ?!.. going up against one of the best team in the tournament !.. a team with a few national players !!.. woW.. i would say, two thumbs up for the guy's team !.. seriously!.. well match summary, ermmm.. alex was performing at 200% !! woW.. scoring 4 goals.. and 2 goals at once.. DOMINATING!.. hahaha.. woonwai also did very well.. but couldnt cover the wing much.. Jim was too scared of that *no expression face guy* !.. hahaha.. Hy din score.. I din score.. Eugene scored i think.. good one.. second half.. the wall was really super good !.. i can say that it's international class !.. defending against KINTA and pushed them to the limit !.. from 21-12 to 21-16 !.. we missed a few fastbreak .. hahah.. yea.. HL scored a very nice goal.. hit tiang and go in.. his specialty.. ermm.. yea i scored 4 goals.. one goal deflect jackshen and went in so.. yea.. first goal of the season !.. everyone scored at the end.. kenneth scored one nice goal.. and surprising Alex didnt score.. A NOTICE FOR THE GIRLS

We're currently facing financial woes. Yes, I repeat, WOES. Like the guys, we also have insufficient funds, not because you haven't been paying (except for a few, you know who you are) but because we lack sponsors.

Right now, we have two sponsors, my mum and Andrea's mum who are contributing RM 100 each a month. But Andrea will be leaving to UK next week, and so it would be really really inappropriate to ask her mum for money.

So, what we need now is more sponsors. The more, the better, as each sponsor will be able to sponsor less. Get it? Okay, right now, we collect about RM 400 a month. Half from players and half from sponsors. So the sponsors' half is RM 200. So let's say we have 2 sponsors, they would have to pay RM 100 each. But if we have 5 sponsors, they only have to contribute RM 40 each (which is waaaaay better than RM 100).

So, if your parents/grandparents/hustler/sugar daddy/boyfriend/girlfriend/fiancee/aunts and uncles/other acquaintances and relatives are willing to sponsor us, please please let me know ASAP.

If nobody is willing to sponsor, we'll probably have to raise the monthly fee from RM 20 to at least RM 30.

If you guys don't mind paying a minimum of RM 30 a month, or you've found a sponsor for the team, please leave a comment below.

Thank you.

P/S: To those who played the match on Sunday, we did a very good job despite the loss. We all really improved alot, as a team and individually. The wall was invincible! Well, almost. So let's get our asses back to training and be in even better shape for the match next month. See you Tuesday.

--

To Horng Yaw
Nice goal on Sunday. Fuyoooo! Top corner shot. Respect, respect ( :

Suggestions : New Training Ground

hey everyone.. i think everyone knew that sports unlimited is closing down.. and they are re-opening their courts near The Curve.. it will be ready in 6 months time.. so therefore.. we need to find a new training place.. i've thought of a few places with indoor courts.. They are :

1 - Wisma OCM *our old training place [i can ask them for bookings again if u guys want]*
2 - Menara PAN Global *ermm.. the court is right on the highest floor of this building, if anyone has been there before.. you should know where is it*
3 - Request for Basketball Indoor Court at Cempaka Cheras ? kekeke *hope dr rizal is looking at this post here*
4 -You suggest la.. *please make comments*

well basically, each of these courts have many different advantages la.. for instant, wisma OCM is cheaper than Sports Unlimited and it is the court we play competition on.. *it's only cheap during the day time and weekdays* .. for Menara PAN Global, ermm.. i dont really have much info about this court.. but i know the ground is the official handball court type.. its very very good unlike Sports Unlimited the wood type.. and there are some which are coming out.. hehehe.. and yea... no dust la.. when u use glue also it will know really cause the ball to be slippery.. hmm.. request for basketball court.. of course!.. this one play how long also dunnit money.. but then if we broke something of course must pay la.. well.. ermmm.. just that the problem is whether the owner will let us use it or not.. and transport problem.. well no problem for me of course.. haha.. easier.. and better !.. hahaha.. no need to pay.. coz training cost really burn our wallets man!.. every month 40 !.. imagine if we could use the cheras court.. it will be 0 !!!!.. zero !!!.. hahaha.. therefore i think we need to have a vote la..

make comments to this post everyone.. *compulsory guys!* if i dont see whoever's name.. hahaha.. kena la you during training!.. if you choose option 4.. suggest the place.. the rate.. and the condition of the court..

Thank you.

So, I'm back with Anja Andersen, the Dutch player. Here's the video as promised.

Remember that jump, throw thingy Wai Luen taught us? The tiring one, where we have to jump, catch and throw before we land? Well, look at this video, and watch how this team put that into good use. Very good use.

Alrighties. And girls, in case you haven't gotten the End-of-July-Piece-of-Paper or you haven't gotten around to reading it, here's a reminder. We have a friendly with Zat's team (yes, the whole team, not just Zat) on Sunday at Sports Unlimited. It'll be from 1-3pm. We'll be playing like it's a proper match so please bring your BLACK jerseys.

Friendly: Cempaka Damansara vs. Cempaka
Venue: Sports Unlimited
Time: 1-3 pm
Day/Date: Sunday, 13th August

Wow. Thanks WL and Billie and Ka Ling. This is great. Really convenient. So much cheaper and easier than sending 14 SMSes twice a week.

So anyway, since you guys won't be having practices this week and gaining 10 pounds with every Roti Canai/KFC Barbecue Cheesy Melts/Bak Kut Teh/Mook Kut Tea/<insert favourite food here>. I thought you could use some 'visual exercise' since you're supposedly "injured and fatigued" and can't do anything useful with your limbs.

Here are handball mixes i found on YouTube. Take a look at them. Hopefully you guys would be as motivated as I am to improve. - Heck, I know I'm a loser, but could you just reduce your cool factor by 5% and at least PRETEND to be motivated? ( :

And this is of course the famous goal by Croatian, Niksa Kaleb. If you find that your jaw has dropped all the way down to the keyboard, well, that happened to me too. If it hasn't, then damn, I'm a bigger loser than initially thought.

I'll be posting a video dedicated to the one and only Anja Andersen, the great Danish handballer tomorrow. Also found on YouTube. So if you're really, really, really, excited and can't wait for tomorrow to come to watch this Anja Andersen, then go search for it yourself here.

Alrighties. Have a good week. Off I go to stock up on Gatorade. See ya next Tuesday!
